Outlined below are statements describing the general procedure followed during purification of a solid by recrystallization process. Order the process from start to finish. (Answer format - e.g., ABCDEF without any spaces and/or commas.)
A. Isolate the crystallized solid by vacuum (suction) filtration on a Buchner funnel.
B. Obtain the melting point of solid and calculate % recovery.>
C. Add decolorizing charcoal to the hot solution to remove the colored impurity.>
D. Remove undissolved material by gravity filtration of hot solution.
E. Calculate the approximate volume of solvent required for recrystallization and measure out the amount plus 10-30% extra.
F. Dissolve the impure solid in hot recrystallization solvent.
