Mrs. Li provides her son with a private tutor as he grows up with the hope it will improve his chances of marrying. Fuding is very picky and immature, so Mrs. Li believes he will never choose a wife. Shuwan tells Lingsi about the many women Mrs. Li has rejected as not good enough to marry her son.
